Hospital Guild
North Valley Hospital Guild started in March 1956 by Jo Appel, Helen Cool, Lena Eberlein, Helen Kendrick, Viva Nelson, Elizabeth Riccardo, Margaret Sawyer, Effie Lea Wilson (47 years of continuous volunteering), and Helen Workosky. The purpose of this group was to provide smaller items which the hospital district needed.
Items Donated by the Guild:
- Assisted Living
Adult Clothing Protector
Reversible Holiday Table Runners
Lap Quilts
Blankets
Items for Bingo Games - Extended Care Facility
Thirty Bedspreads
Drapes for Each Resident's Rooms
Glucometer
Fitted Jeri-Chair Covers
Lap Covers Custom Designed for Wheelchairs - NVH
Infant Crib
Air Conditioner for X-Ray Department
Small Surgical Equipment
Stretcher
Heart Monitor
These are just to name a few of the items which were generously donated by the Guild. Without their efforts our facility would not have some of the luxuries and even necessities.
They raise money by having a booth at the annual Winterfest, yardsales, and previously sold a community birthday calendar. If you are looking for a way to volenteer and enjoy crafting, the Guild is a great way to become involved.

Coming Soon...
The Guild and the Hospital District are working collaboratively to open a gift shop. This is a project that has been in the works for over 40 years. The gift shop is planned to be on the first floor of the original hospital where the Tonasket Family Medical Clinic is currently located. We hope to begin this project in the next year. If you are interested in helping fund this project or get involved somehow please visit our Foundation page to find out how to donate.
