Federal VA Raises Burial Allowance Oct. 1, 2011
Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10:07AM The burial allowance (38 USC, Sec 2303 (a)) was amended to allow an increase from $300 to $700 for Veterans who die while being hospitalized by the VA.
