Nursing


 

Job Title: EC Med/treatment floor nurse RN/LPN

Qualifications: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensed in Washington state as a registered nurse or LPN
  • Maintain current CPR certification

 

Description:

Renders general nursing care to residents in extended care environment. The RN is responsible for providing direct nursing care for residents and supervise the direct care given by NAC's.  The RN is responsible for implementation of current standards of nursing care and for directing and following extended care policy and NVH District Service Culture policy. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Qualifications: 

  • Graduation form an accredited school of nursing,
  • At least one (1) year OB/ER experience.

Description:

Renders general nursing care to patients in hospital environment. Functions as a key support position to assist the providers in the delivery of hospital services. Description:

Job Title: Case Management Coordinator

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington
  • five (5) years current acute hospital nursing experience and 3to 5 years acute hospital case management experience required
  • Current CPR (adult/child/infant) certification

Description:

The case manager is responsible for compliance with CMS conditions of participation regarding utilization review and discharge planning including implementation and annual review of the utilization management plan and assisting with the coordination of the utilization management committee. The case manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with CMS/DOH provision of care regarding discharge planning and patient needs for care, treatment, and services after discharge or transfer are met. The case manager follows the hospitals case management/utilization program that integrates the functions of utilization review. discharge planning, and resource management into a singular effort to ensure, based on patient assessment, care is provided in the most appropriate setting utilizing medically indicated resources. The hospitals case management model outlines a collaborative practice to improve quality through coordination of care impacting length of stay, minimizing cost, and ensuring optimum outcomes. maintains ability to provise nursing care to patients. Directly responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer.

 
 
 

Rehabilitaion Services

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Description: 
Responsible for providing assessment and treatment programs designed to return patients to their optimum functional level, in coordination with other team members in a Rehab Center setting. Performs individualized evaluation and ongoing assessment related to the patient's condition, addressing special needs and behaviors.  Develops treatment goals, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, that are time specific and result in discharge of the patient to his home environment attaining the highest level of function possible.

Our healthcare and rehabilitation department is interested in hiring a caring and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The COTA will be responsible for implementing programs developed by the Occupational Therapist in compliance with all the local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients.  Job Title: Laboratory Tech

  • MLT with an associates degree in related health sciences, and certified with a national recognized agency.

Job Title: Patient Registration Clerk

Job Title: Dietary Aide

  • Previous experience in hospital food preparation preferred, or willingness to learn the basics of good nutrition and of the foods required in special diets.

Description:

Under the direct supervision of the dietary manager, the dietary aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties and participates in performance improvements and CQI activities. The dietary department is responsible for providing meals to the hospital patients and extended care residents. This includes three meals a day plus in-between meal nourishments according to their diet prescription taking into consideration patient preferences, and on some occasions guests of families and other meals and snacks as ordered by the dietary manager, Sunday through Saturday including holidays.

Description:

Under the direct supervision of the dietary manager, the barista prepares a variety of drinks including but not limited to coffee, tea, Italian sodas, ect. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities. The coffee shop is responsible for preparing drinks, it also provides soups, salads, and other lunch and snack items for employees and visitors daily.  

Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

Job Title: Grounds Keeper

  • High School diploma or GED.

Description: Completing yard duties, including lawn mowing, weed eating, weeding and barking flower beds, trimming roses and bushes, picking up trash on the grounds and maintain fountains and water features in a timely manner. Ability to meet physical demands such as, walking, sitting, using hands, Reach with hands and arms. Must frequently lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Description:

The laundry aide is responsible for the processing, distributing, and storage of washable linen, garments, and other items. Performs basic laundry tasks, which include washing, folding, mending, inspection, and fabrication of specialty items.

  


Information Systems

Job Title: Information Systems Tech

Qualifications: 

  • A+ and Network + of certification within 90 days of hire
  • One (1) year of experience working with personal, distributed and/or mainframe computers
  • must possess working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
  • Must have one to two years experience directly related, or similar experience in healthcare setting.
  • Must have one to two years experience as a customer service representative in Help Desk service environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems a plus.

Description:

Under the guidance of the Information Systems Manager, the IS Tech ensures the cost effective maintenance and repairs of systems and computer operation hardware to meet the needs of the organization. IS tech participates in planning organizational growth and coordinating strategic plans with the development of information systems; participates in organization wide direction in areas of policies and planning for information systems and related functions.
