Position Information: Full Time

Qualifications: 

  • Surgical Experience in Orthopedics Preferred

  • Currently licensed in Washington state as a PA or ARNP.

Description:

Supports Orthopedic Surgeon in procedures, consults, and pre/post op clinic visits. Position to be shared between Tonasket and Brewster locations and travel between the hospitals will be required.   


Nursing


Job Title: RN

Description:

Renders general nursing care to patients in hospital environment. Functions as a key support position to assist the provider (s) in the delivery of hospital services.   • Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Course.

Description:

Rehabilitation Services

Description: 
Responsible for all administrative and clinical activities of the Hospital and Long Term Care Rehabilitation Services.  Provides patient care through assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to meet patient needs.  Supervises the Department of Rehabilitation and participates in hospital programs which promote health and well-being and employee safety.

Description: 
Responsible for providing assessment and treatment programs designed to return patients to their optimum functional level, in coordination with other team members in a Rehab Center setting. Performs individualized evaluation and ongoing assessment related to the patient's condition, addressing special needs and behaviors.  Develops treatment goals, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, that are time specific and result in discharge of the patient to his home environment attaining the highest level of function possible.

Our healthcare and rehabilitation department is interested in hiring a caring and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The COTA will be responsible for implementing programs developed by the Occupational Therapist in compliance with all the local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients.   • MLT with an associates degree in related health sciences, and certified with a national recognized agency.

  • Recent experience in: blood banking; microbiology; blood gas analysis with experience in arterial puncture; hematology and automated chemistry.

Job Title: Information Systems Tech

Qualifications: 

  • 3 years technical experience, preferably in a healthcare related field.

  • Demonstrated technical ability and skill in programming, hardware installation, networking, development of information systems, and maintenance.

  • Must possess working knowledge of Client Architecture, LAN & WAN Technologies, Network Topologies, Network Troubleshooting Techniques, Advanced Printing Management, NT Security & Networking Permissions, Disk Administration, Directory Management, Managing Domain Users & Groups, Workstation Installation, Dial-up Networking (RAS), Microsoft Office, TCP/IP, and computer operating system software A+ and Network + certification

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the information systems technology subjects and extensive knowledge of hardware and software, with the ability to keep abreast of new technologies

  • At least two (2) years of experience working with server/client systems

  • Must possess working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.

  • Must have two (2) years experience directly related, or similar experience in healthcare setting.

Description:

Plant Engineering

 Description:

To assist in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of hospital facilities in good repair.  Electrical and plumbing work, mechanical and bio-medical repairs, construction and other duties relating to facility and equipment maintenance are the primary duties.


Health Information Management

Job Title: Certified Coding Specialist

Qualifications: 

  • Certified as a  Coding Specialist

  • Knowledge and experience in diagnoses/procedures in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles for Critical Access Hospitals

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.

  • Computer knowledge, training and/or experience

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills;

  • Excellent typing and computer skills including proficiency using office software including Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and database software;

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Description: Accountable for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into ICD 10 and CPT codes.   Skilled in the sequencing of diagnoses/procedures to optimize reimbursement.  Ensures that records are coded in an accurate and timely manner. Abstracts information from the record on each patient visit, and enters into the computerized medical record database.  Ensures accuracy and integrity of medical record abstract data prior to billing interface.  Participates in appropriate performance improvement and CQI activities.


Laundry Services

Job Title: Laundry Aide

Description: The Laundry Aide is responsible for the processing, distribution, and storage of washable linen, garments, and other items.  Performs basic laundry tasks, which include washing, folding, mending, inspection, and fabrication of specialty items.
