North Valley Hospital District provides free training and preparation to work as an NAC and pass the state exam. All applicants will need to pass a background check and drug screening. Classes are approximately six weeks and are held throughout the year.  Training is provided by a Registered Nurse and clinicals are completed in the Extended Care. 

Now accepting applications for the NAC (Nursing Assistant Certified) class that begins October 5th, 2026.

We will be accepting applications for our October 5 NAC (Nursing Assistant Certified) class through August 28. Please submit your application by this date to be considered for this class.

After the application period has closed, we will begin contacting applicants to schedule interviews during the first week of September. Please be sure to check your email regularly and watch for a phone call, as these will be our primary methods of communication regarding interview scheduling.

Students must be available Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
