Construction Update:

The construction crew still has isolated work to complete in several areas, but it will be rapidly phasing out, and we can start getting back to normal. The Radiologist's Office has been moved back to its original spot, and over the next few weeks, we will continue to make progress towards getting folks back home.

Extended Care Survey:

Our friends at DSHS showed up this morning for our annual EC Survey. I’ll provide updates on any findings and next steps as we have them.

Recruitment:

The HR Team has been busy arranging interviews and bringing people on board. Kristy Terzi will start in December, and in the next few weeks, interviews will be held for the Extended Care DNS. We are also working on the Radiology Manager and several other frontline positions.

Open Enrollment:

This week we have the meetings for Open Enrollment which will discuss the changes for 2025 including updated rates and options. The HR team and insurance reps will provide a review of the choices that need to be made. Meeting times are:

  • Wednesday 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm.

  • Thursday 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:30am

UKG:

We are progressing on our new time and payroll systems, going live for time clocks on December 22nd. Between now and then, there are several items to watch for:

  • Login information will be shared around December 9th

  • Training materials will be shared

  • In person Training sessions.

October:

The end of October is hectic at my house, with both kid's birthdays landing in the second half of the month and (despite our best efforts) multiple celebrations with family, friends, and the out-of-town grandparents. The highlight this year was a Nerf-gun capture-the-flag game. The kids had a blast but I’m pretty sure it took me longer to set up and tear down than the game lasted.
