Acute Care Census:

December has been an extremely busy month with some of our highest census days all year. The clinical team is working hard, and I want to recognize those efforts. I also see the support services impacted by the additional patients. Thank you for working so hard to care for our community.

Survey Season:

With the end of the government shutdown, the Survey teams for both Hospitals and nursing homes are in the area.

While surveys are never scheduled in advance, this is a good time for all of us to be especially mindful of policies, documentation, safety practices, and day-to-day workflows. Surveys reflect the work you do every day, and your professionalism and attention to detail make a difference. Thank you for staying engaged and survey-ready.

Annual Giving Campaign:

Holiday Greetings:

As the holidays approach, I want to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for the care, compassion, and dedication you show throughout the year. A special thank you goes to the HR and Dietary teams for organizing the Christmas party. It was a great opportunity to come together, connect outside of our usual roles, and celebrate the season.

On behalf of leadership, thank you for everything you do for our patients, residents, and each other. We wish you and your families a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season, and a happy New Year.

My son Jamie, now 10, is mortified I can send cute baby pictures to 200 NVH employees and he is powerless to stop me.
